Because of our commitment with the research & development community, we announce our new platform for working with wolfram alpha that will start development on June 1 of 2009  today. (edited on June 1).

We will develop native front-ends for Wolfram Alpha reducing server cost for Wolfram Research and helping our fellow researchers reduce bandwidth costs.

The new front ends will be available for iPhone, Mac OS X, Windows, Linux and we will create native frameworks for all this platforms. 

This will allow developers to rapidly create new uses for the incredible Wolfram Alpha Knowledge Engine.

Swine Flu Contingency Plan

To all employees of Ixaya in Mexico branch. In order to keep everyone working in a healty enviroment we will publish our contingency plan here so that all are well informed and act accordingly.

Remote Work:

• Every employee at Ixaya should try to work at home using our secure links provided by our infrastructure. 
• In case that the activity need to be done in our branch offices then the employee should stay only the required time and then return to home.

Health:

• Clean your hands every hour when working at Ixaya or at customer offices.
• Avoid physical interaction with other employees and customers.
• Avoid touching your nose, ears, mouth and eyes using your hands.

Family:

• Register your parents and kids in IMSS, your social security number allows it.
• If a member of your family have symptoms of Swine Flu, take him to a Social Security Hospital (are the best ones curing this epidemic decease) your health insurance should cover all the expenses.
• Avoid traveling and eating food not cooked at home.
